Brewers right-hander Ben Sheets threw on the side without discomfort Saturday afternoon and could be on track to make a scheduled start against the Cubs Tuesday night at Wrigley Field.
Sheets, who missed a start this week due to soreness in his right triceps, smiled and seemed in good spirits after the session.
"I feel good," he said. "I threw everything."
The Brewers, who carry 14 pitchers, will likely make a final determination about Sheets' status Sunday or Monday. At this point, however, indications are that he will make his turn.
Sheets (3-0) first felt soreness during a victory April 12 at Shea Stadium and left his next start April 18 in Cincinnati after five scoreless innings.
In the past two seasons, Sheets has been bothered by a strained groin, a torn finger tendinitis, shoulder tendonitis and a strained pectoral muscle.
Here are the starting lineups for tonight:

SS Hanley Ramirez
2B Dan Uggla
RF Jeremy Hermida
LF Josh Willingham
1B Mike Jacobs
3B Jorge Cantu
C Mike Rabelo
CF Alfredo Amezaga

Brewers
2B Rickie Weeks
CF Gabe Kapler
LF Ryan Braun
1B Prince Fielder
RF Corey Hart
3B Bill Hall
SS J.J. Hardy
