1. Leff's opening day tailgate bash will be a day late
Published: Jan. 8, 2009 - 4:15 p.m. - Frustrated in their attempt to procure tickets for the popular Brewers opening day tailgate party sponsored by Leff's Lucky Town and The Hog (102.9 FM), many fans vowed to pay close attention and get tickets to the baseball bash this year. Unfortunately, it's already too late. The Brewers have decided not to sell group tickets to the April 10 opener against the Cubs, so Leff's and 102.9 The Hog will hold their benefit bash before the second game.

In September, the Badgers were mentioned as a contender for the Big Ten championship, a New Year's Day bowl and perhaps even greater riches. In their final game together in Orlando, they were steamrolled by the Seminoles.
