Beginning today, singers across the nation have a shot at singing at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards with Justin Timberlake. Singers who would like a chance to win the contest should submit a one-minute video of themselves singing a capella at music.yahoo.com/mygrammymoment by Jan. 3, 2007.

The songs options are:

  • "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys
  • "Breathe" by Faith Hill
  • "Come To My Window" by Melissa Etheridge
  • "What's Love Got To Do With It" by Tina Turner
  • "Dance With My Father" by Luther Vandross
  • "Cry Me A River" by Justin Timberlake
  • "Respect" by Otis Redding (popularized by Aretha Franklin)
  • "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" by Whitney Houston
  • "Vision of Love" by Mariah Carey

People who submit videos must be 18 years of age or older, it must be a solo performance and cannot have ever been signed to an independent or major record label.

The public will vote on the winner once the top 12 are announced.
