Published: Sept. 17, 2008 - 05:03 a.m. - They had a new manager. A different lineup. And their ace on the mound. Still, none of that was enough to help the Brewers snap their losing ways and they now trail the Mets in the Wild Card race.

12. Randolph firing shouldn't give fans the Willies
Published: June 18, 2008 - 05:17 a.m. - Firing someone is never easy. It smarts. It stings. It's the ultimate rejection. "We no longer want you." There is no massaging that hard truth and nothing could have softened the blow.

From the concourses, the sound of the fans chanting “Let’s go Mets,” is a sound more typical in a European soccer stadium. So, perhaps it’s not surprising that finding Brewers fans among the Shea faithful isn’t easy on this sunny but brisk May Sunday.
